As the days get shorter and the nights longer we all know winter is firmly on its way. But don’t worry, we have an action packed end to the year planned for you.

In response to your feedback, we have decided to hold our mini Christmas market early, to give you time to buy gifts and presents for loved ones.  The local businesses who have supported our meetings over the past year will be joining us in the red room and offering Christmas gifts and specials. These include beauty products, chocolates, clothing and gifts, Christmas crafts, cards and gift wrap.

Autumnal Centre Piece

This month we welcome back Fran Bailey of the Fresh Flower Company who will be leading a hands on workshop to create an autumnal candle centre piece. There will be a competition with the winner being chosen by Fran.

When:  Wednesday 5 November 2014
Meet:   East Dulwich Tavern
Arrive:  From 7pm ready to begin at 7.30pm
Guests:  As always, guests are welcome to join our event! We simply ask that they wait until all members have signed in and we can then accept guests until we reach capacity.
Raffle:  Don’t forget your pocket money for our largest raffle yet!

NFWI Bursary – Winner to be drawn
Thank you all for your entries! Our guest, Debbie Kiang of PECAN Food Bank will be drawing the winner of the NFWI Bursary. If you are unable to attend, please keep an eye on your email. A second name will be drawn in case the first winner is not able to be contacted.

EDWI Christmas Market – Gifts and goodies
Supporting the local businesses who have supported us over the past year, we have invited them back to our mini Christmas market. Held in the red room, stalls include Melange, Conscious Clothing, Rita with her Christmas Crafts, Shana and her Aloe Vera products plus many more.

PECAN – A year on
Debbie Kiang from PECAN will be joining us to share some success stories from the food bank and talking to us about their Christmas Appeal and opportunities for volunteering during the Christmas break.

See you all there!
