Subscription Fees

Subscription fees for 2018 are £41.00. The membership year runs from January to December.

The subscription fees cover entry to 12 East Dulwich WI meetings per year. Any material or event costs are usually included but occasionally members may be asked to make a small contribution towards costs for extra special events.

The subscription fees also include membership to the National Federation of Women’s Institutes and 8 copies of WI Life Magazine delivered directly to your door. Members can also access other benefits such as special member rates for courses at Denman, the WI college in Oxfordshire.

Reduced rates are available when joining mid-way through the year:

1 April – 30 June 2018 – £30.75
1 July – 30 September 2018 – £20.50
1 October – 31 December 2018 – £10.25

Please note that unfortunately the reduced rates are unavailable for individuals that have been a member of a WI in the 10 years prior to re-joining.

Dual Membership

Did you know you can be a member of more than one WI? You simply pay £20.00 (2018) to the second WI you join.

Unfortunately mid-year reductions are not available for secondary subscriptions.

Guests

Guests are welcome at all events subject to available space

Joining us as a guest at one of our meetings is a great way to meet us and see how awesome our events are!

Guests are asked to pay a guest fee of £3.00 for each meeting they attend. Guests may attend 3 WI meetings per year – anyone wishing to attend more events are requested to join as a member.

An additional fee may be charged where materials have been provided for an event – this is most common for food/drink events and craft event and is not likely to be any more than £5.00 but please do enquire should you require further confirmation.

You do not need to know a current member in order to join us as a guest and there is no limit on the number of guests who may accompany members.

Whilst Gentlemen are not permitted to join the WI as members, they are more than welcome to join in at meetings as guests.

Whilst no prior warning is required to attend an event as a guest, it may be advisable to contact the committee to confirm your attendance in advance in order that sufficient materials can be ordered and space can be confirmed.

Please note that all subscription fees are set by the National Federation. Annual subscriptions usually rise by around £1 to £2 a year.
