Cocktail Making with First Aid Box
Wednesday 7 March -7pm for 7.30pm till 9.30pm
It may be freezing outside but this month we have something to help you escape the winter blues – cocktails! The team from independent Herne Hill cocktail bar, First Aid Box, are known for their exquisite drinks, bringing together health and nutrition in their cocktails and infusions. They make ample use of ‘shrubs’: spirits suspended in vinegar-based syrups that make for thrilling and unusual tastes.
They will be taking us through the age of cocktails, from the classic Martini right through to today’s top tipple, the Pornstar Martini, with some delicious tasters along the way. We’ll also learn about great flavours and ideas for non-alcoholic cocktails, along with top tips, secrets and techniques for mixing cocktails like a real pro!
With their theme of First Aid cocktails to make you feel better, we think that this month’s meeting is just what the doctor ordered!
What to Bring
There is no need to bring anything for the cocktail masterclass, unless you want to bring a pad and pen to make notes so you can recreate First Aid Box’s magical creations in your own home.
We look forward to seeing you!

April’s meeting is going to be a fascinating one!
We are excited to be welcoming a spokesperson from a Palestinian charity who will be talking to us about their vital work in the region. And if that’s not enough we also have an expert showing us how to make our own hummus, so much nicer than shop-bought!
